Crowdfunding should be understood, not just sold.
Fundraise Scout exists because Reg CF is a genuinely useful way for companies to raise money and for regular people to invest early — and because most of what's written about it is either a sales pitch or a legal document.
We write plain-English guides for both sides of the table. For founders, we also help figure out whether a raise makes sense and which platform fits, then make the introduction.
Who's behind this
[Your name] — add two or three sentences about your background, why you care about crowdfunding, and any relevant experience with startups, finance, or the companies you've worked with. A real photo and a LinkedIn link go a long way for trust.
How we make money
Everything on this site is free. When we introduce a company to a crowdfunding platform and that company goes on to launch an offering, some platforms pay us a referral fee. We'll always tell a founder which platforms we have referral relationships with before we make an introduction.
We're paid only for introducing companies. We never receive compensation tied to investors or to how much anyone invests, and we never share investor information with platforms.
We are not a broker-dealer, funding portal, or registered investment adviser. We don't sell securities, handle investor money, negotiate deal terms, or recommend any particular offering to investors. Our content is educational and general — not legal, tax, or investment advice for your situation.
Regulatory figures on this site reflect the rules as of November 2026. Rules change; always confirm with the SEC, your platform, or your attorney.
